Who would suspect that two dark purple parents with average scapes would produce a towering and exceptionally fine, lavender-colored daylily? BARBARA GARRREN is a spectacular, clear lavender bitone with slightly darker petal edges and yellow to green throat. It has very tall, sturdy scapes with four to five-way branching and 22 or more buds. The pure lavender color of BARBARA GARREN never fails to get noticed from a distance... Who would trade color like that for a frilly edge! Chosen by daylily aficionado, friend and super nice lady from Region 15, Barbara Garren, to be her namesake.
