The velvety blooms of APPALACHIAN BALLAD are medium purple with a lighter watermark, ruffled edge and yellow to green throat. APPALACHIAN BALLAD has sturdy scapes with three to four-way branching and 20 or more buds. Always beautiful in the garden, very hardy and fertile both ways.
