The rose-lavender bitone blooms of DIVERGENT have an extremely pleated yellow appliqué throat with green heart. Early in the season, the sepals tend to flare outwards and they begin to recurve as the weather warms. Three to four-way branching with 18 or more buds. Very hardy and fertile both ways. A sibling to ALIEN CORSAGE and perhaps the most unusual member of the ALIEN DNA family.
