Cream polychrome with pink highlights, ruffled yellow gold edge and yellow to green throat. Each and every spring VANILLA VICTORY can easily be spotted from 50 feet away, because it has the most distinctive dormant foliage in the garden. It emerges like huge green swords on steroids and was nicknamed "the artichoke" as a first year select seedling. Three to four way branching with 18 to 20 buds and fertile both ways. Extremely hardy and a great dormant parent.
